Ra·val (ra·vawl) 1. Neighborhood in Barcelon which is a melting pot of
immigrants from Africa, Asia, South America and Eastern Europe. Once the
Barrio chino, or Chinatown, this neighborhood now hums with Asian
supermarkets, halal butchers and designer delis. Predominant flavors are spicy
and exotic, reflecting the Pakistanis and Moroccans in the barrio. Meanwhile, the
bohemian invasion of the barrio spawned a new wave of artists, designers and
great lounges combining great music, chic design and great food. 2. Two Rooms.
